Digital NEST CONNECTS youth to a skill-building community that TRANSFORMS them into professionals who can CREATE successful careers, innovative solutions, and prosperous communities.

Project Description
Dual pronged curriculum, engaging social justice and tech around Data Science. Hosted by and with the Digital NEST in Watsonville, April 23, 2022. Engaged with participants to bring them awareness of the impacts of Data Science and taught them the tech tools to have a deeper understanding of how tech can implement change within their communities and how they can be the controlling factors of that change. This curriculum can be presented to a diverse set of participants and can be amended to accommodate the communities that are harder to reach. Over time their needs can be met with relevant topics to engage with tech for social change.
